Ambassador Abdali Interacts At USI
H.E. Shaida Mohammad Abdali addressed an interaction session at United Service Institution of India (USI) on September 10, 2015.
At the invitation of USI, Ambassador Abdali accompanied by the embassy’s Political Counselor Mr. Said Hafizullah Maududi and Press Secretary Mr. Zubair Juenda visited the institution to interact with a number of Indian former Military Officers.

In continuation to their brief meeting in Kolkata, Mr. Dhruv Bhalla, Vice President of SREI, paid a courtesy visit to the embassy to meet Mr. Sayed Mujtaba Ahmadi, Economic Counselor at the Embassy. Mr. Bhalla congratulated Mr. Ahmadi on getting the required clearance for the establishment of the New Consulate in Kolkata which would be beneficial for both the countries in terms of trade, investment and exploring economic potentials further.

Oman- India Gas Pipeline Project to have Afghanistan on board
As a major step towards binding the countries of Oman and India economically, to meet the current demand for oil and natural gas to increase the regional economic interdependency, Fox Petroleum Group India in collaboration with the Government of the Sultanate of Oman has agreed to invest in a joint venture known as “Oman – India Deepwater Multipurpose Pipeline” for the transportation, storage and marketing of oil and natural gas blocks from Oman to India and vice-versa.
