H.E. Shaida Mohammad Abdali addressed an interaction session at United Service Institution of India (USI) on September 10, 2015.
At the invitation of USI, Ambassador Abdali accompanied by the embassy’s Political Counselor Mr. Said Hafizullah Maududi and Press Secretary Mr. Zubair Juenda visited the institution to interact with a number of Indian former Military Officers.
The session titled “ Evolving situation in Afghanistan ” was moderated by USI’s Director Lieutenant General P.K. Singh and attended by a number of former and current military officers.
Thanking the Afghan Ambassador for accepting the invitation Gen P.K. Singh talked about the aim of the interaction posing questions on Afghanistan’s peace talks with the Afghan Taliban, the way ahead, and the role of other countries.
Ambassador Abdali thanked the institution for convening ‘a timely interaction on important issues’ and expressed pleasure over being there for the second time.
The Afghan Ambassador addressed the participants of the session covering the fundamental questions raised by the USI’s Director Gen. Singh.
The Afghan Ambassador talked about the transition in the country.
