Deputy Chief of Mission (Minister Counselor) M. Ashraf Haidari was invited to speak on “Afghanistan: Transition, Peace Prospects, and Regional Stability” at the Afghanistan Studies Center, Academy of International Studies, Jamia Milia Islamia University, in New Delhi on February 14, 2013. Mr. Vivek Katju, former Indian Ambassador and Secretary-West of the Ministry of External Affairs, chaired the talk. Following his speech, Mr. Haidari had an hour-long Q&A discussion with the audience, including faculty, doctoral researchers, students, and others.
